Situ\u00e9e juste \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de Vienne, cette petite vall\u00e9e ne fait pas la une des journaux, mais elle regorge de caract\u00e8re. Imagine un Gr\u00fcner Veltliner vif et poivr\u00e9, un Riesling \u00e9l\u00e9gant et cet \u00e9quilibre autrichien si caract\u00e9ristique entre fra\u00eecheur et \u00e9pices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les racines viticoles de Traisental sont profondes \u2014 plus de 500 ans d&#039;histoire, avec des p\u00e9pins de raisin provenant de <em>l'\u00e2ge de bronze.<\/em> Cette r\u00e9gion viticole de 600 hectares compte aujourd'hui plus de 50 producteurs qui \u00e9laborent environ 10 millions de bouteilles par an. Elle prouve que la taille compte autant que la qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les visiteurs peuvent fl\u00e2ner dans les charmantes villes de la vall\u00e9e, comme <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Traismauer\">Traismauer<\/a>,  avec ses ruelles \u00e9troites et ses caves centenaires. Traisental raconte l'histoire des plus anciennes traditions viticoles d'Autriche. Que tu viennes pour le vin, les paysages, ou les deux, Traisental offre ce m\u00e9lange d\u00e9contract\u00e9 d'authenticit\u00e9 et de d\u00e9couverte qui donne envie de s'attarder, un verre \u00e0 la main de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-d43737cf757494907401f86337901c1f\" style=\"background-color:#5a769e\">Nich\u00e9 entre Kamptal et Kremstal, Traisental a beau \u00eatre petit, elle n'en est pas moins exceptionnelle. Le Gr\u00fcner Veltliner est le c\u00e9page phare (sans surprise), tandis que le Riesling s'\u00e9panouit sur les coteaux calcaires, d\u00e9bordant d'\u00e9nergie et d'un excellent potentiel de garde. Depuis 2006, l'AOC Traisental garantit des vins qui refl\u00e8tent leur terroir : purs, frais et expressifs, sans exc\u00e8s de ch\u00eane. Nich\u00e9e entre de douces collines et des rivi\u00e8res sinueuses, elle est un paradis pour les randonneurs, les cyclistes et tous ceux qui aiment explorer la nature, un verre de bon vin \u00e0 la main, au terme de leur balade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et le vin fait partie de la vie ici depuis <em>bien<\/em> longtemps\u00a0: des arch\u00e9ologues ont trouv\u00e9 des p\u00e9pins de raisin datant du d\u00e9but de l\u2019\u00e2ge du bronze, bien avant que les Romains ne mettent les pieds dans la r\u00e9gion. C\u2019est dire \u00e0 quel point les racines sont profondes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saint-P\u00f6lten, principal centre n\u00e9vralgique de la vall\u00e9e et capitale de la Basse-Autriche, est un point de d\u00e9part id\u00e9al pour explorer la r\u00e9gion. Au fil du temps, ces mat\u00e9riaux se sont solidifi\u00e9s en conglom\u00e9rats, formant ainsi l&#039;ossature des vignobles sur les coteaux occidentaux. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat ? Des vins d&#039;une acidit\u00e9 vive, d&#039;une min\u00e9ralit\u00e9 affirm\u00e9e et d&#039;une pr\u00e9cision sous-jacente \u2014 comme un Gr\u00fcner Veltliner croquant qui sait exactement ce qu&#039;il fait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur le versant droit de la vall\u00e9e, le paysage devient encore plus fascinant. On y d\u00e9couvre la formation de Traisental, un m\u00e9lange de sables et de limons calcaires, parfois l\u00e9g\u00e8rement compact\u00e9s, parsem\u00e9s de coquillages marins du genre Oncophora. Elle t\u00e9moigne du fait que cette r\u00e9gion \u00e9tait autrefois recouverte par une mer chaude et peu profonde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le climat est un exercice d'\u00e9quilibre d\u00e9licat. Compar\u00e9 aux r\u00e9gions de <a href=\"https:\/\/dianewinevoyage.com\/fr\/vin-de-kamptal\/\">Kamptal<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/dianewinevoyage.com\/fr\/vin-de-kremstal\/\">Kremstal<\/a>, Traisental b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&#039;un arrosage l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus important, mais les vents soufflant des Alpes pr\u00e9servent la sant\u00e9 et la s\u00e9cheresse des vignes. Afin de pr\u00e9venir le gel et le botrytis, de nombreux vignobles sont plant\u00e9s plus haut sur les coteaux, o\u00f9 les brises sont plus fortes et l&#039;air plus frais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019instar de ses deux \u201c\u00a0r\u00e9gions s\u0153urs\u00a0\u201d, Traisental b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e0 la fois de la chaleur pannonienne \u00e0 l\u2019est et de la fra\u00eecheur alpine \u00e0 l\u2019ouest. Ce ballet quotidien entre journ\u00e9es chaudes et nuits fra\u00eeches conf\u00e8re aux vins leur style unique\u00a0: finesse aromatique, fra\u00eecheur vive et une pointe d\u2019\u00e9pices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"anchor-3\">C\u00e9pages dans la Traisental<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tu ne dois retenir qu'une seule chose du vin Traisental, que ce soit celle-ci : c'est le pays du <a href=\"https:\/\/dianewinevoyage.com\/fr\/quel-est-le-cepage-le-plus-cultive-en-autriche\/\">Gr\u00fcner Veltliner<\/a> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce c\u00e9page r\u00e8gne en ma\u00eetre sur la vall\u00e9e \u2014 il couvre pr\u00e8s de 601 tonnes et 300 tonnes de vignes \u2014 et c&#039;est ici qu&#039;il r\u00e9v\u00e8le tout son potentiel. Les sols, principalement calcaires et graveleux, conf\u00e8rent aux vins un parfait \u00e9quilibre entre fra\u00eecheur et structure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On y retrouve cette d\u00e9licieuse saveur poivr\u00e9e, ces notes d&#039;agrumes \u00e9clatantes et cette texture onctueuse qui rendent le Gr\u00fcner Veltliner de Traisental \u00e0 la fois facile \u00e0 boire et d&#039;une \u00e9l\u00e9gance remarquable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le riesling joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important ici, bien qu&#039;il soit un peu plus exigeant quant \u00e0 son terroir. On le trouve sur de petites terrasses caillouteuses aux sols secs, calcaires et riches en gravier, qui contribuent \u00e0 pr\u00e9server la structure et la min\u00e9ralit\u00e9 des raisins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat\u00a0? Des vins vifs et acidul\u00e9s, d&#039;une grande profondeur, dot\u00e9s d&#039;une acidit\u00e9 qui donne envie d&#039;en reprendre. Ils vieillissent aussi magnifiquement, pour les plus patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors oui, entre le Gr\u00fcner et le Riesling, le vin de Traisental se caract\u00e9rise par des ar\u00f4mes nets et expressifs, avec une touche de fra\u00eecheur montagnarde. C&#039;est une de ces r\u00e9gions qui, discr\u00e8tement, produit des vins de caract\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"anchor-4\">DAC Traisental<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Traisental est peut-\u00eatre l&#039;une des plus petites r\u00e9gions viticoles d&#039;Autriche, mais elle prend la qualit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s au s\u00e9rieux. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle est officiellement devenu une <a href=\"https:\/\/dianewinevoyage.com\/fr\/que-signifie-dac-dans-le-vin\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1824\">DAC (Districtus Austriae Controllatus)<\/a> en 2006, elle a rejoint les rangs des appellations autrichiennes les plus prestigieuses, et elle suit la m\u00eame structure claire que Kremstal et Kamptal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les diff\u00e9rents niveaux de DAC transencial<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Au sein de l&#039;AOC Traisental, il existe plusieurs niveaux, indiqu\u00e9s directement sur l&#039;\u00e9tiquette. Les vins peuvent porter la simple mention Traisental DAC, ou Traisental DAC avec l&#039;indication d&#039;une commune sp\u00e9cifique. Pour une pr\u00e9cision accrue, certaines bouteilles mentionnent \u00e0 la fois la commune et un cru sp\u00e9cifique\u00a0; dans ce cas, un num\u00e9ro de contr\u00f4le r\u00e9gional est requis \u00e0 compter du 1er janvier de l&#039;ann\u00e9e suivant la r\u00e9colte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe \u00e9galement le Traisental DAC R\u00e9serve, commercialis\u00e9 plus tard et soumis \u00e0 l&#039;obtention d&#039;un num\u00e9ro de contr\u00f4le d&#039;\u00c9tat \u00e0 compter du 1er juillet de l&#039;ann\u00e9e suivant la r\u00e9colte. Sur toutes les bouteilles, l&#039;appellation d&#039;origine contr\u00f4l\u00e9e (AOC) \u2013 et, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, la mention \u201c\u00a0R\u00e9serve\u00a0\u201d \u2013 doit figurer sur l&#039;\u00e9tiquette principale (en l&#039;absence d&#039;\u00e9tiquette arri\u00e8re), et le mill\u00e9sime doit toujours \u00eatre indiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chaque niveau a son propre style<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>En termes de style, tous les vins portant l&#039;appellation Traisental DAC doivent \u00eatre \u00e9labor\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de Gr\u00fcner Veltliner ou de Riesling, et tous sont secs, sans sucre r\u00e9siduel. Le degr\u00e9 d&#039;alcool est un autre indice\u00a0: les vins Traisental DAC doivent afficher un minimum de 11,51\u00a0% vol.\u00a0; les Traisental DAC avec indication de commune doivent atteindre au moins 12,01\u00a0% vol.\u00a0; et les vins b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant \u00e0 la fois d&#039;une indication de commune et d&#039;un cru sp\u00e9cifique doivent atteindre 12,51\u00a0% vol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces vins doivent \u00eatre bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s, ne pr\u00e9senter aucune influence dominante de botrytis et refl\u00e9ter la densit\u00e9 typique du mill\u00e9sime, avec un style souvent d\u00e9crit comme vif, aromatique et plein de finesse \u2014 fortement influenc\u00e9 par les sols calcaires et graveleux de la vall\u00e9e, qui conf\u00e8rent au Traisental son caract\u00e8re min\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traisental DAC R\u00e9serve va encore plus loin. Avec un minimum de 13,01 % vol., ces vins pr\u00e9sentent un style plus cors\u00e9, une bouche dense et persistante, et une l\u00e9g\u00e8re pr\u00e9sence de botrytis et de notes de ch\u00eane, qui ajoutent texture et profondeur tout en restant fid\u00e8les au caract\u00e8re de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tu aimes les vins blancs pr\u00e9cis et min\u00e9raux, Traisental est un excellent choix\u00a0: Klassik pour une fra\u00eecheur vive, Reserve lorsque tu veux un peu plus de corps et de complexit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"anchor-5\">Domaines viticoles \u00e0 Traisental<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce que j&#039;appr\u00e9cie particuli\u00e8rement dans les vins de Traisental, c&#039;est leur c\u00f4t\u00e9 intime\u00a0: cette r\u00e9gion n&#039;est pas faite de grands domaines ostentatoires. Elle regorge de vignerons passionn\u00e9s qui cultivent leurs vignes avec amour et \u00e9laborent des bouteilles qui racontent de v\u00e9ritables histoires. Voici quelques noms \u00e0 retenir\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u00e9opold Figl<\/strong> Il a repris la vinification en 2012, apr\u00e8s avoir perfectionn\u00e9 son art au domaine Stadt Krems, dans la vall\u00e9e voisine de Kremstal. Ses vignes sont plant\u00e9es sur des sols de l\u0153ss sableux, ce qui conf\u00e8re \u00e0 ses Gr\u00fcner Veltliner une structure plus ample et une teneur en alcool l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure. Lorsqu&#039;il a repris le domaine familial en 1999, celui-ci ne comptait que 5 hectares\u00a0; aujourd&#039;hui, il s&#039;\u00e9tend sur 55 hectares r\u00e9partis sur plus de 100 petites parcelles. Ses meilleurs vins b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d&#039;une mac\u00e9ration pelliculaire minimale, fermentent dans des f\u00fbts neutres d&#039;acacia autrichien et vieillissent 9 mois sur lies. Le r\u00e9sultat\u00a0? Des vins \u00e9l\u00e9gants et structur\u00e9s qui incarnent \u00e0 merveille la pr\u00e9cision de Traisental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensuite il y a <strong>Louis Neumayer<\/strong>, ce vigneron, passionn\u00e9 par l'expression du caract\u00e8re de ses sols caillouteux, poss\u00e8de un domaine viticole certes petit, mais d'une qualit\u00e9 exceptionnelle. Deux vins \u00e0 retenir\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Wein vom Stein\u00a0\u201d, un assemblage issu de diff\u00e9rentes parcelles rocheuses, et \u201c\u00a0IKON\u00a0\u201d, sa s\u00e9lection d'exception provenant des meilleures parcelles du domaine \u2013 tous deux r\u00e9put\u00e9s pour leur potentiel de garde et cette min\u00e9ralit\u00e9 caract\u00e9ristique de Traisental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces producteurs incarnent \u00e0 la perfection ce qui fait la singularit\u00e9 des vins de Traisental\u00a0: puret\u00e9, authenticit\u00e9 et une assurance discr\u00e8te.
